Sheldon Lo to take a one month break after accident

27 Apr - Hong Kong singer Sheldon Lo recently assured that he is fine, despite being hit by a car in a previous accident.

As reported on Mingpao, the 28-year-old singer, who sat in a wheelchair during an interview with the media, shared that he was diagnosed with a fracture on his lower back and spine, and that he will have to take a month's break for speedy recovery.

He added that he is lucky that he sustained no other major injuries especially to the head.

Sheldon was also accompanied by his mother, who was revealed to have travelled back to Hong Kong from Australia to take care of him.

When asked how the accident occurred last week, Sheldon said that it was raining when he and his girlfriend were standing near the traffic light on their way to the other side of the pedestrian walk.

The singer said that he quickly crossed the road when the light went green. That's when he realised that a car was heading his way. He was hit and fell down to the ground three to four metres away from where he was walking.

The whole thing seemed unreal, said Sheldon, who was then rushed to the hospital.

On the other hand, the singer said that he had previously taken an offer to star in an action film. Now that he is injured, the singer said he is unclear whether he could join the film.
