Shawn Yue says the last two years was toughest on career
6 Jan – Shawn Yue is re-energised in 2021 - after experiencing two years of drought in his career - thanks to his wife and their son, Cody.
On 5 January, the actor posted several photos of him, wife Sarah Wang, and 2 year old son Cody riding bikes at a park near their home on social media, and expressed, "I started working at the age of 18. I haven't had much rest for so many years because I know that having a job is a blessing, so I took control and continue to move forward. [However] these two years have been the worst in my life, the most challenging."
Shawn also revealed that he hasn't seen his parents and relatives in Hong Kong for more than a year due to the pandemic, which made everything much more challenging.
"Fortunately you two are here," he wrote, referring to his wife and their son. "And now there is another little sister. For you, for your family, for all my colleagues, I will continue to do my best. I will work hard in 2021," he added.
It is noted that Shawn and Sarah welcomed their second child - a daughter - late last year.
