Shaun Tam unfazed by negative comments

12 Jul – Hong Kong actor Shaun Tam recently admitted that he has received as many negative comments as positive ones when it comes to his performance in his first TVB drama, "Succession War".

As reported on Mingpao, the actor who spoke about the criticisms regarding his acting recently, shared that some netizens complained that he acted worse than an extra, and that his bad performance has ruined the drama.

"I understand that I still have a long way to go. Hopefully I will be able to prove myself to everyone in my next two dramas," he said.

When asked what his father and legendary actor Ti Lung think about his performance, Shaun responded, "He is satisfied."

In the said drama, Shaun plays the role of Jiaqing Emperor, Qianlong's successor who is intimidated by Heshen (played by Ruco Chan) and the power he has obtained.

Shaun will soon be seen playing the lead in "The Stunt", a TVB drama about the life of stunt workers, and "Justice Pao: The First Year", a period drama that revolves around the famous upright judge, Bao Zheng.
