Sharon Stone Blocked From Bumble Dating App for Impersonating Sharon Stone

Sharon Stone was blocked from the dating app Bumble after some users reported her profile as spam, the “Basic Instinct” actress tweeted Sunday night.

“I went on the Bumble dating sight and they closed my account,” Stone said in the tweet. “Some users reported that it couldn’t possibly be me! Hey Bumble, is being me exclusionary? Don’t shut me out of the hive.”

But fear not, eligible bachelors within a 50-mile radius of the star — her account has since been restored. The dating app, known for its bumble-bee-yellow branding and its Sadie Hawkins-style rules that women have to message men first, was quick to restore her account.

“Trust us, we *definitely* want you in the Hive,” a Bumble representative replied. “We at (Bumble) found your account, unblocked you, and ensured this won’t happen again. You can get back to Bumbling! Thanks for bearing with us and hope you find your honey.”

Stone is best known for for a series of hit 1990s films like “Total Recall,” “Basic Instinct” and “Casino.”

The actress has spoken out about dating before. Last year on “The Late Late Show,” she described to host James Corden and fellow guest Elton John what she was looking for in a man.
