Sharon Luk: No need to strip away Jacqueline Wong's pageant title

29 Apr – Miss Hong Kong alumna Sharon Luk recently stated that there is no need for the Miss Hong Kong organisation to strip Jacqueline Wong off her title as the first runner-up of the Miss Hong Kong 2012 pageant.

As reported on Mingpao, Sharon, who was the 2nd runner-up of the said pageant in 2005, was asked to give her two cents about Jacqueline's cheating scandal during her appearance at the Miss Asia Pacific International Pageant 2019.

"When it comes to feelings, it's hard for outsiders to judge. But when you are a public figure, you should pay attention to your words and deeds," she said.

Sharon stated that the title belongs to Jacqueline fair and square and should not be taken away from her.

"Unless it's something like falsifying your information or education. Then it is necessary to deprive one of the Miss Hong Kong title," she said.
