Sharon Kwok wants Elaine Ng to live her life
27 Apr – If it was up to her, Sharon Kwok would rather good friend Elaine Ng focus on her own life rather than worry about her rebellious daughter Etta.
As reported on On CC, the former actress, who spoke to the media about the latest issue concerning the mother-daughter relationship, said that she would love for Elaine to let go of Etta and let the 18 year-old learn her own lesson.
"One day when Etta gets hurt, she will realise it herself. It may take a while, but there is no other way. Everybody has their own path to maturity," she said.
Sharon also stated that she is not fond of people saying how sorry they are for Etta, when Elaine is also living a hard life.
"I saw with my own eyes how Etta treated Elaine all this years, but she always put her daughter first and sacrifice everything for Etta," she added.
When asked if she would assist Elaine by talking to Etta herself, Sharon expressed her anger towards Etta's girlfriend Andi, saying "I don't want to try. I don't want to talk to that tutor."
She alleged that Etta's attitude changed a lot after she started dating Andi, and that the Instagram personality has been a bad influence in the 18-year-old's life.
The tumultuous relationship between Elaine and Etta made headlines again recently, when the media wrote that the radio personality has filed a missing person report after five months of no contact with her daughter.
Elaine had since responded to the issue, saying that Etta is currently living with a friend outside Hong Kong.
