Sharon Kwok checks up on good friend Elaine Ng
16 Oct - Amid the controversy surrounding Etta Ng coming out as gay, Hong Kong actress Sharon Kwok recently shared a photo of her recent visit to the 17-year-old's mother, Elaine Ng.
As reported on Mingpao, in a photo that was posted on 12 October, Sharon can be seen smiling happily with Elaine, with a durian in one hand, saying, "When life gives you [expletive], keep calm, and eat durian!"
She also added several hashtags 'girlpower', 'singlemom', and 'Iwillsurvive'.
On the other hand, the actress, who appeared at a breast cancer awareness event recently, shared that she did came to check on Elaine after Etta's coming out news turned viral.
"We talked for hours. I told her that for the mother to be a good role model, she should take care of herself first and not think too much," she said.
Sharon previously made the news after she decided to express her frustration on social media towards Etta's 29 year-old girlfriend Andi Autumn, for being a negative influence to the 17-year-old.
Etta is the lovechild of action superstar Jackie Chan and former Miss Hong Kong Elaine Ng. The father and daughter have no relationship with each other to date.
