Sharon Cuneta to star in first teleserye
8 Jul – Sharon Cuneta is set to star in her first television series ever.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress shared the good news on Instagram recently by reposting an announcement that read, "Megastar #SharonCuneta, a teleserye is being developed for ABS-CBN and Viva Entertainment. Coming soon."
Sharon first spoke about a possibility doing a TV series at the press conference of her joint concert with Regine Velasquez, saying that ABS-CBN's COO Cory Vidanes has brought up a possibility of such a project.
"If the plan continues - and hopefully it will continue - then it will be my first ever teleserye," she said.
On the other hand, the actress is set to make her movie comeback in two years with "Revirginized" - which also marks her first movie with Viva Films in 18 years.
It is set to premiere in August through Vivamax.
