Sharifah Sakinah to marry Swedish boyfriend in May 2021
19 Dec – Sharifah Sakinah recently announced that she and her fiancé Michael Hansen are set to tie the knot in May next year.
The actress, whose relationship with the Sweden-born Hansen first made the news back in September, revealed that they have chosen the date 28 May for their wedding since they shared the same birth date.
"We chose it because coincidentally, Michael and I was born on that date. For now, we have yet to decide on the venue because of COVID-19. We're still in discussion," she said.
Sakinah also stressed that she would not be moving to Sweden with Hansen, who works as a fitness trainer.
"I am planning to continue my acting career here in Malaysia. We're going to be one of those long-distance couple. I would only visit him during my break, and the same goes for him," she said.
Prior to Hansen, Sakinah was married to pilot Aliff Adha in 2015. She admitted to their divorce back in May last year. The couple are parents to three-year-old daughter Anais Adha.
