Shane Brennan Drama ‘Here & Now’ About Cop With Amnesia Set At CBS

NCIS: Los Angeles creator Shane Brennan has set up another crime drama project at CBS. The network has nabbed Here & Now, created, written and executive produced by the veteran writer-producer.

In Here & Now, after a near death drowning accident, a Boston homicide detective develops retrograde amnesia which causes him to forget the last five years of his life. The project hails from CBS TV Studios where Brennan and his company are under an overall deal. Brennan executive produces with Shane Brennan Prods.’ Grant Anderson.

Brennan has been with CBS/CBS TV Studios’ successful NCIS franchise since 2007, serving as an executive producer on both the mothership series and offshoot NCIS: Los Angeles, which he created and has run since its 2009 launch. Brennan’s series credits also include the CW’s One Tree Hill and CBS’ CSI: Miami. He is repped by Paradigm and Kevin Kelly of Gendler & Kelly.
