77 SAF personnel to assist in transporting Afghan evacuees

SINGAPORE — A total of 77 Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) personnel left Singapore on Thursday (26 August) night to assist the US in its evacuation of Afghans.

Travelling aboard a Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport aircraft, they will help transport Afghanistan evacuees currently in Qatar to Germany and other receiving countries.
