Seth Rogen Spreads Some Holiday Hurl in 'The Night Before'

When it comes to druggy humor and uncontrollable body functions, you can always count on Seth Rogen for some laughs.

As alluded to in the trailer for his forthcoming holiday buddy comedy The Night Before, Isaac (Rogen) trips out on a mix of substances while trying to hold it together during a Christmas church service. In the exclusive clip above, it goes from bad to worse when he feels the undeniable urge to — as Garth Algar from Wayne’s World would say — spew. His wife, played by the hysterical Jillian Bell, instructs him to “swallow it like a girl would.” But in the end, dressed in his very Jewish Star of David sweater, he hurls in front of a packed room of Catholics during midnight mass.

The film, also starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie as part of Isaac’s lifelong bro-trio, revolves around their ultimate Christmas Eve party night, which marks the probable end of a yearly tradition.

Seeing as Isaac’s wife is the one who gave him the cocaine and mushrooms for being such “a rock” during her pregnancy, it’s really her own fault he flips out during the holy festivities.

Also with appearances from Lizzy Caplan, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Mindy Kaling, and Michael Shannon, The Night Before jingle bells into theaters Nov. 20.
