Seth Meyers Slices Trump’s Golfing in Latest ‘A Closer Look’ (Video)

Seth Meyers just took a seven iron to Donald Trump.

The “Late Night” host examined the leader of the free world’s golf habits Thursday in “A Closer Look.” What the NBC personality uncovered was a bit troubling.

“You played golf six times in one month?” Meyers set up, for starters. “Are you the President of the United States, or a San Diego dentist?”

Half-a-dozen rounds in a few weeks is quite a bit for anyone with a job — especially the person with arguably the most important position on the planet. And isn’t Trump the same guy who criticized President Obama’s in-office time out on the links? That memory certainly wasn’t lost on Meyers.

“When it comes to being a hypocrite, Donald Trump has a zero handicap,” he explained of the elephant on the course. “He’s the Tiger Woods of hypocrisy.”

Perhaps someone should show Seth Woods’ recent scorecards, but we digress.

It’s not actually the golfing that gets to the former “SNL” head writer. Rather, it’s the lengths that White House staffers are going to in an effort to hide the leisure time. To learn more about that weird cover-up, check out the video above, which includes a personal anecdote about Meyers attempting to play 18 holes with his own dad.

Not afraid to get down into the sand trap with our Commander-in-Chief, Meyers then took a shot at Trump’s physical appearance when swinging the sticks. Because, well, why not?

From there, “A Closer Look” changed channels to Trump’s tweeting, as well as the disaster scenes at recent GOP town halls. It’s all worth a watch.
