Serayah McNeill has landed a new modelling gig, as the face of Madonna's fashion line "Material Girl."
The singer and "Empire" actress has been signed up to front the collection's Spring 2018 campaign, Women's Wear Daily (WWD) reports. The star, who counts 1.4 million followers on Instagram, will sport a range of new athleisure pieces and separates from the juniors label, which is carried at Macy's.
"A lot of what I wear for work are custom pieces and straight from designers," McNeill told WWD. "It's cool that Material Girl is accessible to my fans and young girls that are purchasing clothes."
"We're always looking for that double or triple threat who's multifaceted and multitalented, and Serayah embodies that as a model, actress and musical recording artist," added Jamie Cygielman, chief marketing officer of the brand's joint producer Iconix Brand Group.
McNeill, whose debut album is set to launch later this year, is not the first famous face to represent the brand. Since being launched by Madonna and her daughter Lourdes back in 2010, ‘Material Girl' has seen singer-songwriter Taylor Momsen, popstar Rita Ora, supermodel Georgia May Jagger, influencer Sofia Richie and actress and singer Zendaya star in its campaigns.
