Selling Sunset's fourth season is finally hereand there's a new girl in town. Realtor Emma Hernan, who hails from Boston, is the latest addition to the cast, so House Beautiful is here to tell you everything you should know about her.

For starters, Hernan helps run a seafood company called Yankee Trader Seafood, which was founded by her grandfather, Gerry McAdams, in 1994. His daughters and grandchildren all run the business today, in Pembroke, Massachusetts. Plus, you can find the company's frozen food products in grocery stores throughout the U.S.

Hernan *also* runs a Hingham, Massachusetts-based business that sells vegan empanadas, called Emma Leigh & Co., which she founded during the pandemic. The company offers three empanada offerings: sausage pizza, vegan beef, and cheeseburger, all of which are made using Beyond Meat.

Beyond the food business, Hernan (unsurprisingly) owns numerous investment properties—both residential and commercial—in both Los Angeles and her hometown of Boston.

Fans of Selling Sunset may be surprised to learn that Hernan's career did not begin in real estate, but in modeling. That's right—the Boston beauty started modeling at just 14 years old, she revealed in an interview with the Boston Business Journal. She modeled for well-known brands like Puma and Gap—all of which led to her moving to LA, where she now works in real estate.
