'Selling Sunset' Star Christine Quinn Was Nauseous and Vomiting Before Her Wedding

  • The conversation led her coworkers to wonder if she was pregnant.

  • Christine has said she eventually wants to have two kids.

If you’ve plowed your way through season 3 of Selling Sunset, you probably know that there’s a ton of drama in the mix. Christine Quinn butts heads with just about everyone, Mary Fitzgerald worries about her fertility, Chrishell Stause’s divorce is dissected, Amanza Smith fights for full custody of her kids, and several cast members debate leaving the Oppenheim Group. But there’s one super juicy nugget in the mix that’s kind of mind-blowing: People thought Christine might be pregnant.

Before her $1 million wedding to Christian Richard, Christine talked about how she was feeling nauseous and was vomiting. At one point, she even told Heather Rae Young and Davina Potratz that her wedding dress wasn’t fitting well, especially because her boobs were “huge.”

Davina suggested that Christine might be pregnant—Christine shut that one down—and Davina said that Christine was in denial.

That was kind of the end of that, but Christine later said in an interview that she thinks she had COVID-19 at the time. “I was really, really sick on my wedding day. I actually had what I now know is corona,” Christine said in early July on Goss.ie’s Goss Chats. “I got really sick in late December and we were traveling, and I was sick for about a month when we were filming. I couldn’t even have a bachelorette party. I was so bummed about that because I was so sick.”

Christine said that her wedding to Christian Richard was “definitely a high” point for her in the year, but that it was “also a low at the same time” because she felt so awful.

It’s worth pointing out that the World Health Organization (WHO) says that COVID-19 was first detected in late December 2019 after a cluster of cases appeared in Wuhan, China. The first known case of the virus in the U.S. was diagnosed on January 20, 2020, per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The virus started spreading in the U.S. in February, the CDC says.

Christine hasn’t addressed the pregnancy speculation, but she told Metro UK earlier this month that she plans to have kids down the road. “I absolutely love kids, I want two, I would love two boys. I can’t even imagine like trying to tame a little Christine,” she said.
