Selena Lee wil have a busy Year of the Rat
17 Jan – Although she is no longer tied to a TVB schedule, Selena Lee recently revealed that she will continue to be busy in the Year of the Rat.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media at a charity event in Tsim Sha Tsui recently, shared that she has yet to find time to celebrate her Most Popular Female Character win at the TVB Anniversary Awards with her group of friends - which also consists of Nancy Wu, Elaine Yiu, and Mandy Wong.
"I have to go to Beijing soon for a week to train for my new Canadian series. I will also be working on the Lunar New Year and return to Canada to start filming the series before starting on a new movie," she said.
Asked if 2020 will be a prosperous year for her career, Selena laughed and said, "After a "fat" and beautiful Year of the Pig, I'm very happy. I was recognised for my work. Hopefully everything will be even better in the Year of the Rat."
Selena also stated that she hopes to go on a vacation, but that she will not be able to do so in the meantime.
