Selena Lee celebrates 39th birthday with the Nonsense Club

14 Feb – Although wary of the risk of contracting Coronavirus, Selena Lee stated that she was still able to go out and celebrate her birthday with her group of friends.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who attended the press conference of her new series, "Forensic Heroes IV", told the media that she originally cancelled all plans to go out and celebrate her 39th birthday due to the current situation, and had decided to just stay home instead.

"But the Nonsense Club members were very determined and wanted to hold a party for me. So we went out to a location that was sparsely populated, booked a location, and had a simple meal," she said.

The Nonsense Club is the name of the group of friends consisting of actresses Myolie Wu, Nancy Wu, Paisley Wu, Elaine Yiu, Mandy Wong, and Selena herself.

Asked what her birthday wishes were this year, Selena said that she wants to be healthy, and for the drama to get ideal ratings as it marks the final series produced by Mui Siu Ching before her retirement.

"I also have a new single on my birthday, "Second Destiny" that I performed with Gabriel Harrison. That was the best birthday gift," she said.
