The second trailer has now been released for the upcoming Gael Garcia Bernal movie "Desierto."

The directorial debut from Jonas Cuarón, son of "Gravity" director and Oscar-winner Alfonso Cuarón, the film tells the story of a group of Mexican migrants who are trying to cross the US border in search of a better life.

However the unarmed group, which includes Garcia Bernal as Moises, end up trapped in the desert as the terrifying vigilante Sam (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) hunts them down to stop them reaching the USA.

The film premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival and won the international critics' FIPRESCI Prize.

It has already been released in select territories this year and is due to touch down in US theaters October 14.
