"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is shaping up to be one of March 2017's biggest video games and one of the bigger names attached is Natalie Dormer, currently well known for playing characters in "Game of Thrones" and "The Hunger Games."

Natalie Dormer, Queen Margaery Tyrell in "Game of Thrones" and green-tattooed Cressida in "The Hunger Games," has confirmed her own participation in "Mass Effect: Andromeda," portraying one of the sci-fi adventure game's key characters.

As Dr. Lexi T'Perro she's a blue-skinned crew member on board the main character's spaceship and the first person that they meet upon waking from 600 years of suspended animation (video: youtu.be/erJhJEewCgM).

The game itself is about exploring a far-off galaxy in search of planets that could prove habitable for humankind, and Dormer is one of several high-profile names attached to the project.

Players can choose to become one of two central characters, twins Sara or Scott Ryder, with the other remaining part of the story.

Clancy Brown is one of the cast's most high-profile actors and he plays the twin's father, Alec, having become extremely well known for turns in "Highlander," "The Shawshank Redemption" and "SpongeBob SquarePants."

Jamie Clayton plays Jien Garson, who is in charge of the Andromeda Initiative that has sent players on their current mission; Clayton broke through in the Wachowskis' sci-fi series "Sense8" and has since been seen in Nicolas Winding Refn's "The Neon Demon."

And Christine Lakin, newsreader Joyce Kinney on "Family Guy" and "Step by Step" co-star Alicia Lambert, becomes one of the player's squadmates, galactic explorer Peebee.

Also involved are Dormer's fellow "Game of Thrones" actor Gethin Anthony (Renly Baratheon in the TV series,) Gary Carr from "Downton Abbey" and "Death in Paradise," and Stanley Townsend of "24: Live Another Day."

Playing the twins themselves are Fryda Wolff and Tom Taylorson; while Taylorson is a relative newcomer, Wolff has a long list of video game credits that include "Lego Jurassic World," "Fallout 4," "XCOM 2," and "Civilization: Beyond Earth."

Both have "Octodad: Deadliest Catch" in common, in which Taylorson played the eight-limbed lead and Wolff was the family's daughter, Stacy.
