Scarlett Johansson regrets attending the 2004 Tony Awards with a crimped hairstyle.

The Avengers: Endgame actress opened up to People about her biggest beauty disaster, and revealed that it was back in 2004 when she attended the Tony Awards.

Scarlett went on to explain that she had asked to look like one of her acting heroes and instead ended up rocking an out-of-date crimped hairstyle as she hit the red carpet wearing a fitted, floor-length black gown.

"There was a year that I went to the Tony Awards - I must have been 19 or 20. I wanted a hairstyle that looked like Jean Harlow's. It looked like a crimping iron," the 34-year-old stated. "Basically, a crimping iron was taking a stand on my head."

"Yeah, it was electrical socket crazy," Scarlett joked, before adding that her hair fail now "lives on the interweb forever."

Scarlett is no stranger to experimenting with her hair and has dyed her tresses a fiery red, blonde, brunette and changed up her styles with long flowing locks to short pixie cuts over the years.

"The best thing about hair colour is that it's only temporary," she told InStyle magazine in 2017, before explaining that she's mainly switched up her hair because of a movie role.

The mother-of-one rocked red hair to play Black Widow in Iron Man 2 and the subsequent Avengers movies, while she chopped off her hair to star in upcoming Noah Baumbach-directed Netflix film, Marriage Story.
