Scam Alert! That $75 Meijer Coupon On Facebook Is Fake
If you've seen a $75 coupon for Meijer grocery stores on your Facebook page-don't click on it. The fake discount, which promises $75 off any order that is $100 or more until December 31, is a scam designed to introduce malware to your computer if you click on the link.
Meijer's public relations manager, Joe Hirschmugl, told WZZM 13 that the offer is fake and that the QR code on the coupon doesn't correspond to any deal the grocery store has.
Meijer also shared their own Facebook post warning consumers to only clip their coupons from their own mPerks program.
