Saya Chang saddened by ex-husband's passing

18 May – It was revealed that Taiwanese singer Saya Chang is returning home from mainland China following news of her ex-husband's death.

As reported on Epoch Times, on 15 May reports revealed that Saya's ex-husband and former professional baseball player, Feng Ruo-hui died from apparent drowning while snorkeling for sea urchins with a group of relatives and friends in Taitung.

According to a rep from the Maritime Patrol Office, at 1.10am, Feng was taken to the hospital after being rescued by a friend, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Saya, who was married to Feng for seven years before they were divorced in 2014, immediately returned to Taiwan to meet with Feng's family following the news of his passing.

Her agent also stated that since Saya was filming in the mainland, her two children with Feng has been living with her family, and will be taken with her to see their father for one last time.

On the other hand, the singer's sister A-Mei, who heard the news, said that the whole family is saddened by his passing.

"Thank you for your concern. For now, we are focused on giving Saya our full support," she said.
