Sarah Nicole Landry is looking inward.

The Canadian influencer, also known as The Birds Papaya, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a couple of portrait photos of herself, where she's wearing nothing but two necklaces and black underwear while posing in front of a white wall.

Along with the moody shots, the Guelph, Ont.-native wrote a caption about how our bodies shouldn't be the main character in our lives.

"Go back and read your story," Landry began. "But read it in the truth of how it happened. ⁣⁣By what point in the story do we begin to see (really see) that our bodies became the main character?⁣⁣⁣"

Landry explained that sometimes, a person might make their body the "star" or "protagonist," and sometimes the "villain," of their lives, adding that the "real us" will often take a back seat.

"We can start to see it play out when we felt we couldn’t wear that thing.⁣⁣⁣ When that vacation made us diet to feel worthy of it.⁣⁣⁣ When we stopped showing up in photos.⁣⁣⁣ The relationships we stayed in because who else would want us?" she continued.⁣⁣⁣ "The sun we didn't feel on our skin.⁣⁣⁣ The hugs we denied so we could hide our flesh a little more.⁣⁣⁣ The memories we didn't make, and the stories we didn't write.⁣⁣⁣"

But Landry further wrote that the best part about living is that our story can change.

"The pages are filling.⁣⁣⁣ They're filling fast⁣⁣," she said. "There's no telling when they end, and when the sum of the pages will be revealed.⁣⁣⁣ We really tend to love playing the odds when they feel they're in our favour. That eventually, we will find that perfect moment and step in and start actively writing the story."

The "Papaya Podcast" host then reflected on the pages of her own life story.

"When I read back on my story and in the truth of how it happened, there are too many pages written by my body. Too many pages left empty because of that," she penned. "It’s time to step in as the protagonist.⁣⁣⁣ The body, our supporting role.⁣⁣⁣ And prepare ourself for the sum of our pages to be revealed.⁣⁣⁣ To live, hug, exist, create memories with no more empty pages."

Fellow influencers and fans showed their appreciation for Landry's beauty and openness in the comment's section of her post.

"You make my heart happy," shared Halifax-based influencer Alicia Mccarvell.

"Beautiful words, beautiful you," wrote Spanish influencer Marina Comes.

"No more empty pages," one fan penned, along with a broken heart emoji. "Too many stories left untold because we denied ourself the pleasure because of how we thought we looked in our bodies."

"This is so well written and what a stunning photo!! I’ll be the main character and the villain today," another commented.

"You have been such an inspiration to me. As I journeyed through pregnancy and now my post-partum life. Thank you," someone replied.

"Seriously ... a tear was shed. Your words are so beautiful. You are so beautiful," someone else chimed in.
