Sarah Geronimo win Best Filipino Act at BAMA
21 Nov – It was revealed that Sarah Geronimo has won another award this year, making it her tenth award overall for the year 2017.
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the singer's agency, VIVA recently announced that Geronimo won Best Filipino Act at the Daf BAMA Music Awards, which was held in Germany on 17 November.
They wrote, "Our #PopstarRoyalty bags another international award as Best Filipino Act for Daf BAMA Music Awards 2017. Congratulations Sarah Geronimo!"
She was also nominated in three other categories, including Best Asian Act and Best Female Act, although she was unsuccessful in those categories.
Meanwhile, Viva has also announced that Geronimo is nominated for the Best Philippine Artist Award at the Golden Panther Awards.
Among other awards Geronimo won this year include Myx Music Awards' Favourite Song ("Tala"), the GMMSF Awards' Female Recording Artist of the Year for "The Great Unknown", and Push's Music Personality.
