Sarah Ferguson is set to publish another book following her lockdown daily storytime programmes.

The duchess, who was married to Prince Andrew until 1996, has announced Fergie’s Fun Food, a collaboration with a food artist, which is set to be released next year.

Ferguson launched ‘Storytime with Fergie and Friends’ early on in lockdown as parents and children were stuck inside when the UK government imposed restrictions to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, have both appeared on episodes as well as Peter and Emily Andre, and Stephen Fry.

Early episodes of the daily programme, on YouTube, attracted up to 30,000 viewers, but recent videos, as summer holidays end and children go back to school, have been less well-watched.

Fergie’s Fun Food will be the duchess’s second cookbook, and likely to be quite different from her first - a Weight Watchers book called Dieting with the Duchess.

Recipes from the book included Asian pear and roasted beet salad - this one will probably feature monster sandwiches and magic wands, with a warning to be careful of sharp knives.

One recent food idea involved using peanut butter, bananas and raisins to create bears on sliced bread, while on another show she made a Peter Rabbit vegetable patch.

Ferguson, 60, turned to children’s writing after she and Prince Andrew ended their marriage, creating Budgie the Little Helicopter - which also became a TV series.

She and Andrew live together at the Royal Lodge despite being divorced, and she has spoken about her “united” family in the wake of allegations against Andrew.

Andrew denies allegations from Virginia Giuffre, who claims she was trafficked by the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, that he had sex with her when she was underage.

Sharing a photo of the four Yorks on International Family Day she said she was “so proud of our united loving family”.
