Sarah Abad finally reacts to split rumours
18 May – Although she did not directly confirm her split from husband Jay Contreras, netizens believe that that's the case when Sarah Abad decided to address the rumours on social media recently.
As reported on ABS-CBN, in an Instagram Story she posted last week, Abad wrote, "I appreciate all the love and overwhelming support people have sent and continue sending our way, most especially to all my friends who have reached out. Soon, I might have the courage to talk to all of you."
She also assured that both she and the Kamikazee frontman are still good friends with one another, and would remain loving parents to their two children.
"It would be a new journey for both of us. This has been heartbreaking and painful, but always praying for strength and acceptance. Thank you," she added.
Rumours of the couple's separation sparked back on Mother's Day, when Abad commented on Contreras' Mother's Day wish to her with, "It may not be the same between us, but [I'll] be forever grateful for giving me two wonderful angels. Thank you."
