Sandy Yu: TVB will speak to Eric Li about extramarital affair
11 Dec - Following his recent confession of extramarital affairs, rumour has it that there is a chance that Eric Li will be dropped from hosting TVB's "Scoop".
As reported on Mingpao News, the TV personality recently admitted that he had cheated on wife of five years, Crystal Wong, with another air stewardess – a married woman named Tiffany.
Since "Scoop" is aired on the family time slot, Eric's indiscretion may have caused him his job.
When asked about the company's stance recently, TVB Executive Sandy Yu stated that they will be meeting with Eric to get the whole picture before making any decision.
"I don't want to make any comment now. I will wait for him to make his own decision on how to handle the situation," she said.
As to whether there is a possibility for suspension, Sandy responded, "Whether or not he should be punished, this behaviour should be stopped."
Sandy also admitted that Eric is regretful about his irresponsibility and how it has affected the company.
