18 Aug – Sandra Ng recently admitted that she couldn't help but jump for joy after hearing that her movie, "Zero to Hero" won Best Film at the 18th Asian Summer Film Festival in Vic, Barcelona.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke about the film's success at the audience appreciation event held on 17 August, stated that she felt very encouraged by the recognition.
"Aside from the box office success, to have the movie won an award, it really made me mad with joy!" she enthused.
Sandra stated that she loved the fact that the movie won Best Film, as it means that the whole team was recognised for their efforts.
"Barcelona is one of my favourite cities, but I am a little disappointed because I couldn't go to accept the award this time. But I will continue to stay in Hong Kong to support the Paralympic Games' athletes, and I would continue to thank the audience!" she said.
"Zero to Hero" is based on the true story and the life of former Paralympic Games champion sprinter So Wa Wai and his relationship with his mother, who spurred and supported him.
