Sandra Ng: Directing a movie is a challenge!

8 Dec – Hong Kong actress Sandra Ng recently admitted that she now understands how challenging her partner Peter Chan's job is, now that she has become a film director herself.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who appeared at the press conference of her directorial debut, "Yao Yao Ling" (aka "The Monster's Bell"), shared that she is still working on some things with the movie while others are already moving forward.

"Changes are still being done to the film when I was at the airport last night. The Cantonese dubbing has been in process for a few weeks now," she said.

"Peter helped too. In order to thank him, I gave him a special service when we got home if you know what I mean," she added, jokingly.

Sandra said that she even used all the tricks she learned from acting and producing movies, including calling in favours from her top star friends and added song-and-dance to attract audiences' attention.

Actors Francis Ng and Alex Fong were among the stars who appeared in the film.

Said Francis, Sandra was able to sweet talk them into performing the song, only to find out that he had to do fight scenes in the movie.

"It is obviously a comedy, but it has so many chase and fight scenes," he said, lightheartedly.

The movie will be released in cinemas on 28 December.
