South Korean celebrity Sandara Park of 2NE1 was in town on Tuesday night (12 March) to unveil kate spade’s global pop-up store for Spring 2019, alongside the fashion brand’s global chief executive Anna Bakst.

The duo were flanked by friends of the brand, including Rebecca Lim, Malaysian actress Juliana Evans, Yvette King, Fiona Fussi and model Iman Fandi.

In an interview with Sandara, she was thrilled to share with her fans a greeting in Tagalog, and shared with us why she’s always excited to be back in Singapore: “I always want to see my fans in Singapore and eat chilli crab, so I’m really happy to be back.”

The event celebrated creative director Nicola Glass’ first collection for Spring 2019, featuring a fresh new reimagining of the brand’s style. Her collection pays homage to the iconic spade silhouette and flaunts the brand’s new sophisticated and electric colour palette.
