Samsung already makes some of the longest-lasting wireless earbuds money can buy, but now the Korean firm is back with something very different.

The new Galaxy Buds Live don't just feature a radical design but also come with noise-cancelling technology – something the brand was criticised for not including in their first Galaxy Buds release in March 2019 – and are available in three enchanting colours: Mystic Black, Mystic Bronze and Mystic White.

Created with fast, adjustable ‘Active Noise Cancelling’, Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Live enable you to fully immerse yourself in music for longer, whilst blocking out the noises you’d prefer not to hear.

Sounds like a dream, right?

The upgraded Buds were unveiled in the United States on 6 August but the UK has had to wait a little longer, with the release date set at 21 August.

Here’s everything you need to know about Samsung’s new Galaxy Buds – including where you can pre-order:

Functions

Audio via AKG
Audio experts AKG have fine-tuned the Galaxy Buds Live, so get set to hear the treble and feel the bass, no matter if you’re working out at the gym or relaxing by the pool.

Active Noise Cancelling
Thanks to some pretty savvy technology, you can easily control how much background sound you wish to hear. This means you can choose to be aware of your surroundings - useful if you’re running in a busy area - or zone out completely, which may be helpful when working from home!

Multi-eartips
Samsung helpfully include Eartips to provide a more comfortable audio experience, so you can just select the correct size and enjoy a snug fit.

Multi-microphones
The Galaxy Buds Live house two outer microphones and one inner, all to help keep unnecessary sounds out of your conversations.

Power on
Galaxy Buds Live will keep you bopping along to your favourite playlist for up to 60 minutes with only a speedy 5-minute charge. Alternatively, give the buds a full charge for six hours of uninterrupted audio.

One tap control
Once connected via built-in Bluetooth 5.0 to a compatible mobile or smart watch, you can use your Galaxy Buds Live to control your tunes – either playing, pausing or skipping tracks or answering phone calls with just a tap.

Design

Designed to look more like a piece of jewellery than a piece of tech, the reflective, metallic finish on the Galaxy Buds make them some of the most stylish in-ear headphones we’ve ever seen.

But their thoughtful design isn’t just to look good – they're also ergonomically crafted for superior comfort and a snug fit, so you can wear them all day and really lose yourself in your music.

It’s a win, win.
