Sammy Leung's parents are safely back at home

10 Mar – After 14 days of quarantine following their return from the Diamond Princess cruise in Yokohama, Sammy Leung revealed that his parents are now back at home.

As reported on Mingpao, the TV and radio personality who spoke about his parents' current situation with the media, shared that the two of them left the isolation camp in Junyang Village in the morning of 7 March and were very happy to finally be back at their own house.

"They had a midnight snack and were glad to finally sleep in their own bed," he said.

However, Sammy stated that he will not be visiting his mother and father frequently and will wait for the outbreak to pass before they could spend more time together.

"They are old now, and safety is paramount," he added.

The Leungs were among thousands aboard the Diamond Princess cruise that was docked in Yokohama for more than two weeks last month after several passengers were found positive with the Coronavirus.
