24 Aug – Although it has been two years since he filmed "Ratman to the Rescue", Sammy Leung stated that he still remembers how tough it was throughout production.
As reported on On CC, the actor who shared his experience filming the drama at its promotional event, stated that there were a lot of action scenes that required wire-work on his part.
"I remember scaling a building for a few floors, and I remember jumping off a roof of a car and injuring my ankle after messing it up. But I continued filming afterwards as to not delay production. I really felt like Tom Cruise," he said with a laugh.
As for playing the lead in the drama which has just recently been green-lighted for TVB's broadcast, Sammy joked that the producer Ng Koon Yu was very brave in casting him in the titular role.
"I didn't even have any romantic plotline. It really is not your typical TVB series. That takes a lot of guts to do," he said.
The new series made its premiere on 17 August.
