Sammi Cheung denies dating "Eat This Way" host Michael Lam
14 Feb – Hong Kong actress Sammi Cheung has dismissed rumours that she is currently dating columnist and "Eat This Way" host, Michael Lam.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who sparked rumours of romance with the said TV personality, told the media that it was just a misunderstanding stemmed from a meeting she had with another friend.
"I was meeting the owner of a stew shop and went there to have some soup since I don't have much work recently. Michael was there and so we dined together. In fact, there is nothing intimate about the meeting," she said.
Sammi stated that she is currently single and would like to get to know people.
Asked if there is any opportunity for her to develop further with Michael, she said, "We don't know each other that well. It was just a regular meeting. He has the manner to take me home, but it didn't feel like he was pursuing me."
