Sammi Cheng spent the holidays at the hospital
22 Feb – While her peers were busy celebrating Valentine's Day and the Lunar New Year, Hong Kong Cantopop diva Sammi Cheng spent most of her time at the hospital - taking care of husband Andy Hui.
As reported on Phoenix, the singer recently posted a clip of Andy at the hospital, and shared that her husband was admitted recently after being diagnosed with Influenza B.
The singer shared, "The symptoms of Influenza B include fatigue, body aches, fever, sore throat and coughing with chest pain. The highest temperature was at 39.7 degrees. I was worried and thought the thermometer made a mistake."
Sammi added that there is nothing that they can do for now except wait for the Tamiflu - the antivirus medicine for the treatment of flu – to do its job.
Speaking to the media soon after, the singer revealed that her husband's fever is slowly subsiding, but that she will continue to be by his side until he is fully recovered.
