Sammi Cheng has no plans to a big promo for new song
25 Sep – Although she recently released her new song, "How Not to Shed a Tear", Sammi Cheng revealed that she has no promotional plans for the time being.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who spoke to the media at the premiere of her new movie, "Fatal Visit", stated that a lot of her projects and work plans had to be postponed due to the pandemic - including the release of a new album.
"We originally wanted to launch new work at the beginning of the year, but it was only recently that I got to release my new song. I am not planning to do much publicity or even hold an autograph session," she said.
The music video to the new ballad, which was launched on YouTube has already amassed more than 100,000 views. Her last song prior to the new one was the hit single, "We All Grew Up Like This" - which was released months following husband Andy Hui's cheating scandal.
On the other hand, when asked if she would be watching her new movie with Andy soon, Sammi only responded, "I dare not bother anybody during this pandemic. I have not invited anybody specially to the premiere."
