Sammi Cheng and Gigi Leung reunite in new movie
16 Jan – Hong Kong stars Sammi Cheng and Gigi Leung admitted that they are excited about working with each other again more than 20 years after their collaboration in the 1996 film, "Feel 100%".
As reported on Mingpao, Sammi, who appeared alongside Gigi at the press conference announcing the new movie, shared that she can see how different they are now compared to the past.
"Gigi has a family and a child now, and she has become such a lively person. I also have my own family now. We really did well after 20 years," she said.
On the other hand, Gigi said that Sammi seems happier and much more open now than before, when she was still battling depression.
"When we start working together, we chat a lot. We have our own experiences that we can share. Even when I first heard that I will be working with Sammi, all the memories came flooding back," she said.
