Sammi Cheng focuses on husband's health

23 Feb – It's been a few days since we entered the Year of the Dog, but according to Hong Kong singer Sammi Cheng, she has yet to visit her parents because of her husband's condition.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer who has been taking care of hubby Andy Hui since he was hospitalised for Influenza B, shared with the media that she is considered a high-risk person and should be careful as to not spread the disease elsewhere since she has been spending a lot of time with her husband.

"Our parents are older. I should be wary [about their health], which is why I didn't go see them during the Lunar New Year," she said.

As for her husband's condition, Sammi said that Andy's high fever seemed to have subsided, but that his body temperature is still high.

"He still has sore throat, coughing a lot and spitting out green phlegm. That means, there is still inflammation in the body," she said.

Sammi added that she will continue to take care of Andy and be keeping a distance so that she won't spread the virus around.
