Sam Milby indirectly confirms romance with Catriona Gray

27 May – Sam Milby seemed to be admitting that he and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray are now in a relationship.

The actor indirectly confirmed their romance on 24 May with a photo of him and Gray following his 36th birthday, which he captioned, "Worth every second of the wait. Most special birthday yet."

Friends like John Prats, Angelica Panganiban, and Moira dela Torre also expressed their happiness for the singer, with the latter writing in the comments, "Couldn't think of a better pair for my kuya."

Rumours of romance between the two sparked since early last year, and refuelled on 22 May, when Gray greeted Milby in a video on his birthday, saying, "I hope that you have an amazing year ahead. I wish you more birthdays, more happiness. You are loved by so, so many."

An excited Milby responded, "I'm thrilled by her message. I didn't expect she would give one. Thank you. Yes, you are very special. Very special."

Prior to Milby, Gray was in a long-time relationship with model Clint Bondad, which she confirmed to have ended in February 2019, a month after she and Milby were first spotted together at an event.
