Sam Cruz relieved that mum Sunshine Cruz is recovered

21 Apr – Sam Cruz recently admitted that she was really scared the first time she was told that mum Sunshine Cruz was tested positive for COVID-19.

As reported on Push, the singer, who spoke to the media about the actress' recent battle with the coronavirus, stated that she and her siblings really didn't know how to react at first upon finding out, and only expressed hope that she would get better soon.

"Once we found out she got COVID, we were all very sad about it and we just hoped for the best. We isolated ourselves with her for almost two weeks to support her and show her our love during this horrible experience, we would text her, call her, Facetime even though we're in the same house," she said.

Cruz added that they would continue expressing support to each other by texting all day and night, and telling each other how they miss one another.

"We were really excited and we were so happy and thankful to God that she's recovered finally. And she's finally back to work," she shared.

Cruz recently revealed that she has finally been tested negative for the said coronavirus after 22 days of quarantine. The actress only revealed her condition two days prior to announcing that she has recovered.
