10 Oct – Here's another feather in Malaysia's cap, as Sabahan hip hop group K-Clique has recently been nominated in the upcoming MTV European Music Awards (EMAs)!
"MTV EMA BEST SOUTHEAST ASIA ACT? 🤔 don't forget to vote for us! Voting period 6/10 till 3/11. Lets go guys! https://www.mtvema.com/en-asia #SAFE #MTVAsia #MTVEMA," the group posted on their Facebook.
K-Clique, made up of members MK, Noki, Tuju, SoMean, KDeaf, FareedPF, Gnello and NastyNas, is a hip hop group that hails from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
They received the nomination in the Best Southeast Asia Act category for their song, "Merais".
Fans will have until this 3 November to vote for the group, who will be competing against the likes of Singaporean singer-actor Benjamin Kheng and Indonesian singer Agnez Mo.
To find out who will be crowned the winner, remember to tune in to the awards ceremony for MTV EMAs 2020 that will take place this 8 November!
