Ryan Turns 40 With Blake and Bunny Masks

Ryan Rodney Reynolds turned 40 on Sunday but his birthday celebration didn’t swing into full force until Tuesday, when Blake Lively took him back to where it all began. Allow yourself to bask in the love story of Blake and Ryan, who, according to her Instagram tribute, fell in love at Japanese restaurant O Ya in Boston some years back. In honor of Ryan’s birthday and their everlasting love, the pair celebrated at the restaurant’s post in New York City, complete with balloons, birthday hats, and bunny masks.

Look closely (or take advantage of Instagram’s lovely zoom feature) and you will notice that Ryan is holding a photo of the two of them celebrating at O Ya for his 35th birthday. Like you, squad leader Taylor Swift squealed with delight upon seeing this photo and as many fans have pointed out, she took to Instagram to thank her pals for causing her to basically combust:

No word on whether or not Ryan’s face looked like ~*this*~ when he saw Taylor’s comment:

Blake and Ryan welcomed their second child in late September and according to reports at the time, Taylor was one of the first to meet the newest member of the Lively-Reynolds clan. The couple, who are also parents to daughter James, have yet to release further information on the newborn, including the sex and name. Taylor hasn’t said anything either.
