ICYMI, the sci-fi horror film, Life, just came out on March 24th. But, stars of the movie Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal won’t go to space IRL, reported CinemaBlend. The two actors have no desire and, TBH, we totally get it.

Btw, Life follows a team of scientists abroad the International Space Station. When they discover a new life form, their lives, and everyone’s on Earth, are threatened. Sounds suspenseful, right?! It’s definitely on our to-see list.

Rebecca Ferguson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare, and Olga Dihovichnaya also star in Life with Reynolds and Gyllenhaal and round out the six-person crew.

So back to Reynolds and Gyllenhaal on NOT wanting to go to space off-screen. Going to the moon is one thing, they told CinemaBlend, but space and colonizing a new life form? Nope.

“I don’t have that desire,” Gyllenhaal told CinemaBlend, and Reynolds agreed. “I don’t think I’d want to go up there, no,” Reynolds said. “I like it here…I don’t want to colonize anything. I have trouble enough just colonizing my own home.”

Laughing, he said he’s referring to having two kids. Of course, you know he’s married to Blake Lively, and their daughters are ~adorable~.

But back to Life. If you missed the trailer, you can watch it here.

Okay, we definitiely want to go see it rn. Brb while we check out showtimes.
