Ryan Reynolds is 100 percent committed to his Deadpool character.
The 41-year-old actor dropped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Tuesday while the late-night host was delivering his monologue, though he appeared as his hilarious Marvel character. True to form, Reynolds poked fun at himself.
"I'll tell you who should not be on your show -- Ryan Reynolds," he quipped. "Huge a**hole. He's like the poor man's version of Ryan Reynolds and, like, the rich man's version of my latest turd."
Of course, Reynolds also cracked jokes at Colbert's expense.
"You think you can both stand and read jokes?" Colbert asked Reynolds when he attempted to take over the monologue. "You know, in our way we late-night hosts are basically superheroes."
Reynolds responded with a hilarious zinger. "Because you're all mostly white men?" he cracked.
ET spoke to the father of two last Thursday at the Deadpool 2 premiere in New York City, where he gushed about his wife, actress Blake Lively.
"Oh, I'm Mr. Lively 24/7," Reynolds said. "And I'm happy about it. It's great. [It's the] best gig."
