Ryan Bang's dream to play the lead comes true

The actor admits he still can't believe he is the lead in new movie, "DOTGA"

19 Apr – Actor Ryan Bang admitted that he is blessed to finally be given the opportunity to play the lead through the new movie, "DOTGA: Da One That Ghost Away".

As reported on Rappler, the actor who appeared at the press conference of the said film recently, shared that he is still in disbelief that he is the lead in the said movie after years of playing supporting roles.

"I was [Piolo Pascual's] sidekick, then Coco Martin's sidekick, even Robin [Padilla's] sidekick. I never expected that I will be a leading man," he said.

So unconfident he is about his own chances with big studios that Bang even thought of producing his own movies so that he could play the lead.

"But it came true now. I want to thank Star Cinema, [Malou Santos], [Olivia Namasan], and Kim Chiu for trusting me," he said, adding that he gave his all for the movie so not to disappoint them.

"DOTGA: Da One That Ghost Away" has been released in cinemas since 18 April.
