RuPaul collaborates with Mally Beauty on cosmetics line

RuPaul is launching a line of cosmetics in partnership with Mally Beauty.

The RuPaul's Drag Race host has previously served as a spokesperson for MAC, raising money for the MAC AIDS Fund, and teamed with Colorevolution on a range of make-up products featuring ultra-rich pigments.

Now, RuPaul is joining forces with celebrity make-up artist Mally Roncal on a limited-edition collection for her Mally Beauty brand.

"(Mally) embodies everything I love about make-up and the playfulness of it. When she asked me to collaborate, I thought, 'Absolutely,'" he told Allure.

The Mally x RuPaul range includes an 18-pan eyeshadow palette comprised of warm metallic shades, blush, mascara, highlighter, blush lipstick, and lip gloss. There is also a version of Mally's famous Evercolor Poreless Face Defender, which iconic drag queen RuPaul has used for a long time.

"Every set I go to, the make-up artists have the Face Defender because it works so well. I would buy them in bulk on QVC and pass them out to friends because I believe everybody should have this product," the 58-year-old stated.

Items in the Mally x RuPaul collection will be available to buy from the QVC and Mally Beauty websites.

Products will go on sale on 20 September, with Mally and RuPaul to host a live chat about the products on QVC on the same day. Posting a preview of the packaging on his Instagram page, the star shared that the opportunity to appear on the shopping channel was a "dream come true!"
