Rumer Willis is now a redhead, and she looks so different
We love a good hair transformation! Empire actress Rumer Willis is now a redhead, and we are absolutely loving her new look. ICYMI, Willis previously rocked jet-black hair, which made her look a lot like her mom, Demi Moore. Her new color definitely gives us a fall vibe, and maybe a villainous vibe? That’s probably because she captioned the image with lyrics from the Rolling Stone’s song “Poison Ivy”:
“She comes on like a rose, and everybody knows, she’ll get you in dutch. You can look, but you better not touch. Poison ivy, poison ivy, well late at night when you’re sleeping, Poison Ivy comes creeping around…”
Rumer Willis made the change from jet black to this cool shade of red. We’re glad she’s switching it up!

She also wrote, “thank you for my witchy hair I am obsessed.”
We’re obsessed too! Witchy hair is definitely the best hair. If she decides to not become a Batman villain, she could definitely fit right into Halloweentown or Hocus Pocus. Or maybe Teen Witch (top that!).
Getting the look wasn’t easy
It took a lot of work to get her hair to that beautiful red hue.
“Black to red,” hairstylist Christopher Pierce wrote on his Instagram page. “Color remover, bleach, and more bleach.”
That seems like a lot of work! Drastically changing your hair can take a lot of time, money, and maintenance. But the results are usually work it. And we are loving the warmer color on Rumer. It might be time to book our hair appointments and get our hair to match the red leaves falling to the ground. Just in time for Halloween!
