As Rugby Sevens Makes Its Olympic Debut, a Look at the Hottest Players

On Tuesday, rugby sevens debuted at the Rio Olympics. Rugby has been part of the Olympics in the past, the last time being the 1924 Paris Summer Games, but sevens is a faster version of the sport.

In sevens, teams are made up of only seven players who go full-out for seven-minute halves. The athletes on the 12 squads selected for the Olympics are all-stars, like Carlin Isles, from the U.S., a college track champ turned Detroit Lion turned Olympic rugby player; Brazilian twins Felipe and Daniel Sancery; and New Zealand’s Sonny Bill Williams, who gave up a professional boxing career to play rugby full time.

And these guys also happen to be ridiculously good-looking. So to kick off the sevens finals — which happens today at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC — Yahoo Style takes a look at the hottest players in the event.
