Ruco Chan ties the knot with Phoebe Sin
16 Oct – TVB actor Ruco Chan and former Miss Hong Kong contestant Phoebe Sin have finally tied the knot.
As reported on Mingpao, the couple who have been dating for nearly two years, said "I do" in a ceremony that was held aboard a yacht, and later moved the event to the Hong Kong Four Seasons Hotel for a big banquet.
Ruco also made a moving vow during the ceremony, saying, "From the first moment we met and became partners, we were not just friends and lovers. When I laugh, it's because you give me happiness and satisfaction. When I cry, you will quietly stand by my side and shield me from the wind and rain.
"Now I finally understand when two people come together, it's not one plus one equals two, but rather it's 0.5 plus 0.5 equals one. [Marriage] requires compromise. I promise you that I will remain faithful to you in my lifetime."
Speaking to the media after the wedding, Phoebe shared that she was touched by Ruco's oath during the ceremony. To that, the actor stressed that half of his life belongs to Phoebe now that they are married.
Among celebrity friends who attended the wedding include Alice Chan, Elena Kong, Andrew Yuen, and Nina Paw.
